To ensure Syndaris works reliably and smoothly, your smartphone should meet the following requirements:
The Basic version functions exclusively offline after setup. Internet connection is only required for downloads, updates, and optional online AI functions. Plus and Premium models use additional online services and require internet connection for that.
Syndaris was developed and optimized for modern Android devices starting from Android 14. On most smartphones with Android 14 or newer, the app runs reliably without special restrictions.
Since the offline AI performs many calculations directly on the device, increased processor load and mild device heating may occur — especially during long conversations or on older or underpowered smartphones. This is completely normal for locally executed AI models.
If you are using an older or underpowered smartphone, we recommend using a Plus or Premium model. In this case, intensive AI requests are processed online, relieving your device and resulting in faster responses in general.
The easiest way to install Syndaris is directly on your smartphone.
Android may indicate that apps from the internet might be potentially harmful.
This warning is completely normal, since the download does not come from an app store.
Confirm the download only if you downloaded Syndaris directly from syndaris.de.
The Syndaris_Founding_1-0-0.apk is now in your Downloads folder on your smartphone.
After downloading, open the installation file in your Downloads folder and follow Android’s instructions.
If Android indicates your browser or file app does not allow installing unknown apps, open Settings and enable “Allow apps from this source”.
Return to the downloaded APK and restart the installation.
Since Syndaris is not available via an app store, but directly via our website, Android may display an additional security warning.
Don’t worry – this is completely normal.
Please confirm the installation and follow the further on-screen instructions.
After successful installation, you will find Syndaris like any other app on your smartphone and can open it there.
After the first start, the setup assistant opens automatically.
You will receive the following prompt:
At first start, no AI model is installed yet.
A popup window with the message Download model will appear.
Once you confirm, the download starts automatically. The download and setup typically take
about two to three minutes.
After that, Syndaris is fully ready for use.
The offline model is available in several languages, including:
Spanish
and 12 more languages
For the user interface, you can select one of the 16 languages. These languages are also available for the chat area.
Additional language models will be offered for download in the future.
After installation, you can configure Syndaris exactly to your preferences.
This includes, among other things:
New versions of Syndaris are regularly released.
Under Settings → App Information, you can always find your installed version number, as well as your personal app ID, which you’ll need for future support requests.
On our website, you can check whether a newer version is available and download it immediately afterwards.
The first setup takes only a few minutes.
Afterwards, your personal Syndaris team is available to you at any time — even without a permanent internet connection. Only optional online AI functions will require internet connection later.
