When you later use an online AI model, only your query is sent to the respective AI service. Your personal data, stored documents, reminders, or chat history are not automatically transmitted.

Your query is sent securely from Syndaris to the desired AI model. No personal data, documents, reminders, or chat history stored in Syndaris are automatically sent.
This way, you retain control over which information your query contains and which does not.
Your query to the online AI is always anonymous; Syndaris then generates a personalized response for you.
For example, you received a letter and need help with it. Starting from the Plus version, you can directly take a screenshot of it. Syndaris sends this to the online AI without personal data. If you now want to generate a reply, your Syndaris reinserts the correct data. These data come exclusively offline from your smartphone.
Unlike many traditional AI apps, you do not need a personal user account with the respective AI provider to use the online AI via Syndaris. Therefore, your data stored in Syndaris remains separated from the online query.

Open Settings → About Phone → Software Information or Phone Information. The exact wording may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer. There, you’ll find your Android version along with other device information.
If you cannot find the information, use the search function in your Android settings with the terms “Android Version” or “Software Information”.
This is completely normal.
Since Syndaris is not distributed through a classic app store, but directly via our website, Android displays a corresponding security warning during installation.
This message does not mean the app is unsafe or harmful. It simply indicates that the app is installed from an alternative source.

Syndaris operates — depending on the selected model — directly on your smartphone. When opening a chat, the AI model is loaded and prepared for conversation. This process takes a few seconds depending on your device’s performance.
Once the model is loaded, further conversations run significantly faster. On older or less powerful smartphones, loading may take slightly longer.
If you want to use faster responses or extensive online features, we recommend later upgrading to the Plus or Premium models, which offer powerful online AI services.
